We are very excited about Vacation Bible School this July 23-27, when we will:
BE GREEN, THINK GREEN, ACT GREEN, LIVE GREEN, TURN GREEN & CELEBRATE GREEN
Our week of VBS will be powerfully renewing and challenging as we use this wonderful resource, get our hands dirty and our minds churning, realize the abundance and variety of God's good creation, and consider God's call for us to be caretakers. We are already planning and will soon be planting and gathering materials to make this a meaningful week for the children and volunteers, and we hope for God's good creation around us.
Learning Groups will include children in Pre-K & K; 1st & 2nd; 3rd & 4th; and 5th & 6th. Children must turn 4 by April 1 for the Pre-K designation. These grades indicate the grade in which the child will be entering in Fall 2012. We will have an active nursery group for children who have parents volunteering.
Fee for child participants: $20 for week, including T-shirt, supplies and materials.* Send in with Completed Registration Form.
Think out of the box this year to volunteer!!! We need adults with all sorts of skills and interests: class leaders, gardeners, recyclers, painters, artists, members of Milford Tree Association, musicians, problem solvers, outdoorsy folks, food crafters, games gurus, etc. We also invite youth, who will be entering the 7th and older, to volunteer. Simply Email Rev. Ashley if you are willing to volunteer for the week, for several days, to do prep work, etc. We can find a way for you to be a part of this great effort.
