White Gift Ministry 2020

The pandemic has changed everything - our family functions are different, our jobs and schools are different, and our worship opportunities have had to change.

But one thing that remains unchanged is the plight of our neediest children. In fact, in many cases the plight is much worse, with unemployment and family crises on the upswing.

While our traditional White Gift ministry cannot happen as it has in the past, we have a new plan to support those families this year at the holidays. Our plan is to provide each child with a $50 gift card to a local store and a stocking (worth approx. $15). We hope to reach 160 local children.

How can you help?

  1. Sponsor a child/children on our special White Gift Giving page on the church website (live Nov. 8) or fill out the White Gift form below and mail it with your check to the church. $65 to sponsor 1 child; $130 to sponsor 2 children; $195 to sponsor 3 children.
  2. Make a donation to the White Gift fund, also on the White Gift Giving page, or fill out the form below and mail it with a check to the church with "White Gift" on the Memo line.

  3. If you wish, you may make your gifts and donations in honor of, or in memory of special people in your life. 

While we aren't able to bring our gifts forward to be presented during the Pageant this year, there will be an opportunity for a symbolic blessing of the gifts on Dec. 13, 2020, during our Online Worship Service that premieres at 10 AM on YouTube.

The deadline for donations is December 3, 2020.
