Meetinghouse Ringers

The Meetinghouse Ringers is First Church's very own handbell choir and specializes in the exploration of a unique form of music performance. This group is open to all ages and abilities Grades 7 and up.  The Ringers learn to play handbells and handchimes and participate in worship regularly throughout the program year including Christmas and Easter seasons.  The Ringers traditionally participate in the All-Saints Day worship service as well.  We are always looking for new members and previous experience is not required.  Handbells are a unique form of performance and it requires a full group of 7-9 ringers who can make rehearsals consistently.  When members are absent, it leaves holes and those make it difficult to rehearse and perform.  But we are able to be flexible to people's schedules as well.

Below please find the rehearsal schedule and other helpful resources for members.  We will be running open rehearsals throughout the month of September where you can come participate or just watch and try it out. Contact Daniel Brownell for more information and to be added to the email blast list so you can keep up with developments and updates.

Regular Rehearsal:
